After attending Open Day, I liked the atmosphere of the college and chose to enrol in the Dual Diploma’s to study over two years. Combining study with a full-time position was challenging but I enjoyed the training so much and the flexibility of the college, that I was inspired. Unfortunately, I was hurt in a workplace accident and had to take time off, which extended my studies and training plan. The college was very supportive and flexible with my needs and I will graduate at the end of the semester with three qualifications. I am very keen to work closely with the college across open days, workshops and festivals to promote shiatsu and massage.

After attending Open Day, I liked the atmosphere of the college and enrolled in Certificate IV in Shiatsu. When I had completed the qualification, I upgraded to the Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies. All the staff are friendly and supportive and I was particularly pleased to learn from very professional and approachable teachers.

I enrolled firstly in the Certificate IV in Massage and later upgraded to the Diploma of Remedial Massage. At 50 years of age, the college welcomed me and helped me to integrate my work with my schooling as much as possible. I was impressed with both the course structure and the standard of teaching staff.

The training I received was very good. I felt very competent and skilled in what I learned. I enjoyed the course very much and felt the teachers were very knowledgeable, and the classes were interesting...A very comfortable, warm and friendly environment to learn in. Also very supportive

After receiving my basic massage training and Certificate IV at other training colleges, I decided to train for my Remedial Massage Diploma at EastWest. From the outset of the course I was impressed with the quality of the teaching and the attitude of the students.
Stephanie Panayi, Melbourne
A good quality course and good value for money. A very nice experience, important knowledge about people's body-mind-soul functions. Just keep going this way! (Diploma in Remedial Massage & Diploma in Shiatsu & Oriental Therapies)
Peter Mikus, Slovenia
I first came to the college as my shiatsu practitioner was a teacher there, then I enrolled in the Basic Shiatsu Certificate. I went on to study the Diploma in shiatsu & oriental Therapies. The teaching and training were exceptional. Through my training, I was able to explore Shiatsu, Chinese Medicine, the Human Body as well as exploring and learning about myself. Classes that stand out include Advanced Zen Shiatsu (Glen Polley), Dietary Energetics (Michael Ellis) and Western Pathology (Alena Forster). I treasure my time at EastWest College.

I initially enrolled in the Diploma in Remedial Massage and then went on to study the Diploma in Shiatsu & Oriental Therapies. The classes are very professional and well prepared. It was good to have different points of view from different teachers. The college is very friendly and open to international students. I especially liked the small classes and the clinics

I chose EastWest College to study the Diploma in Remedial Massage because it was fairly small, which made it more personal. The small group classes are really good as you get more one on one tuition. All the teachers have a lot of of experience. I like the way the College integrates Eastern and Western techniques and philosophies

When I was 27 I became very fascinated with energy/healing and the various types and applications. I understood the concept of Qi and could feel it in my hands. I enjoyed giving massage to friends/family/partners and it was only when I met my partner at the time in 2006 that I realised that the concept of massage and healing in Shiatsu was what I needed to persue. My partner at the time had studied at EastWest College and recommended it to me. I originally started off with the Basic Certificate then went on to the Certificate IV in Shiatsu and then upgraded to the Diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies. The teachers were very knowledgable, approachable and understanding to my needs as a student. They were mentors to me during some difficult times and assisted my development greatly. The teachers are the college and it's one reason why I studied there. My time at EastWest College has been positive, the college has attracted great students and I have made some good friends. I'm very keen to work closely with the college, accross open days, workshops, festivals to promote shiatsu and studying at the college.
