Diploma of Shiatsu & Oriental Therapies

National Course Code HLT50207. 18 months full time or 36 months part time

This is a comprehensive course covering all aspects of the therapeutic use of shiatsu. Graduates of the Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies are competent to treat the full range of conditions, both chronic and acute, which are appropriate for shiatsu treatment.

Graduate therapists are competent in both diagnosis and treatment. They are able to assess the history and causes of conditions, and understand patterns of disease. Graduates are able to use basic counselling skills and recommend lifestyle adjustments to affect long term changes in the individual's health.
